Software Developer (Java)

We are looking for skilled Java developers with various industry or academic exposure. This is an interesting and challenging position as you will be involved in building granular but innovative applications.

This is a full time position, based in our Chisinau office.

Responsibilities:

  • You will design and build robust and fast web and console based applications using Java 5+ related technologies (Spring, Hibernate, JUnit)
  • You will develop systems of various levels of complexity ranging from simple servlets to more challenging components
  • You will facilitate integration of server side components with client-side logic using various templating frameworks.

Additional requirements:

  • Good written/verbal English is desired
  • Strong problem solving skills is a must
  • Strong coding skills and ethic is a must
  • Basic system administration skills a plus (think Linux, Jetty/Tomcat, Nginx, Maven)
  • Experience with Git/Mercurial/Subversion
  • Any Python/PHP exposure is a plus
  • Any Objective C/iOS development experience is a plus
  • Basic product management skills a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in professional software development required.

Education

  • University/Academic background preferred, however not required. Good sense of humor is required.

We are seeking skilled PHP developers of both senior and junior levels.

  • You will develop systems based on various CMS (Wordpress, Expression Engine)
  • You will implement client-side logic in Javascript/JQuery amd write markup in standards-compliant XHTML/CSS
